First of all, thanks to so many of you who have visited my new site and signed up for my monthly e-newsletters (which you can still do on my Contact page, by the way). I’ll share client and art news and even some PR tips with my wonderful subscribers.

Secondly, I want to welcome a new client: Spectrum Creative Arts. This two-year-old arts organization right across from Pittsford Plaza may qualify as one of Rochester’s best-kept secrets, and I’m very excited to help raise its profile. Spectrum offers music and art instruction and therapy, and its highly qualified and passionate directors and staff come up with some very innovative and inclusive programs. Next up is their first Eco-Art Challenge that invites the public to submit artworks made from discarded k-cups!

I know that many of us are eager to see more of new RPO Music Director Ward Stare, and the RPO’s Summer Season offers us that very opportunity. Maestro Stare will conduct ten community RPO concerts in July – at venues that range from Penfield Country Club to the Main Street Bridge on July 4th – many of them with free admission.

Fresh from their 19th anniversary show at Lovin’ Cup as well as their fourth annual Rochester Music Hall of Fame awards ceremony at Eastman Theatre, Prime Time Funk plays Sticky Lips on Saturday, June 6th and Spry Evening of Jazz on Friday, June 12th.

I’ll have more new clients and updates to share with you in June, which is far-too-quickly approaching. Thanks for visiting!
